Information Technology

The institute offers a  4-year B.TECH course in Information Technology with an annual intake of 60 students  in order  to meet  the  needs of  IT industry.

The computer centres are well equipped with the latest software for conducting the laboratory practical/experimentation work of the curriculum, latest and up-to-date hardware and computer peripherals.

Over 120+ computer systems are networked with Wi-Fi connectivity. All computer centres share the Institute-wide Internet bandwidth of 2 Mbps. Central Computing facility is maintained by the department where the students can connect to the Internet during their off-hours.

The activities are planned and executed by and for the upcoming technocrats to help sharpen their technical knowledge, inter-personal skills and aptitude through programming contests, seminars, quizzes, mock-interviews, etc.

A team of dedicated and qualified teaching staff and  trained technical/support staff adds to the strength of the department and has a good mix of expertise and experience.
